Siouxland TEA Party - Taxed Enough AlreadySubmitted by pkwieseler on Mon, 04/13/2009 - 19:35.
The Siouxland Tea Party is Wednesday, April 15th from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Dance Pavilion on the Riverfront. Please do your best to find a way to attend. We need your help in making an impact. Parking is available on either side of the Anderson Dance Pavilion. Additionally, parking is permitted at the Tyson Event Center on the southeast corner. You can then walk underneath Interstate 29 through the pedestrian tunnel.
The interest in our Tea Party has been met with widespread enthusiasm. The people of Siouxland that I have communicated with are very eager to show their concern on how our conservative values are being taxed. There have been many solutions offered to fix our current dilemmas, but let us not forget that the solution is our constitution. The answer is not in creating new laws, for many lawmakers have no regard for the boundaries found in our constitution. The answer is in finding those conservative Americans willing to step into public service and stand up for what our founding fathers intended when they wrote the constitution. Those values are lower taxes, personal property rights, freedom of religion, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to life, legal immigration, national defense, etc.
Let us send a message to our lawmakers that we do care, we are watching, and it is time to stop taxing us, financially and morally. We appreciate everyone willing to show support for the future of our country. |
