No Terror Attacks are no accident - Ronald Kessler

Submitted by lholub on Sun, 01/06/2008 - 20:45.

As we finish another year without a terrorist attack, it’s a good time to think about why. The media and liberal politicians will tell you it’s an accident or a matter of luck. They are dead wrong.

The reason we have not been attacked in the more than six years after 9/11 is the hard work of the FBI, the CIA, and our military, and the sweeping changes that have taken place in the intelligence community under George W. Bush.

Barbarians in the Oval Office by Paul R. Hollrah

Most conservatives were disappointed when former Speaker Newt Gingrich teased us for more than a year… all but convincing us that he would enter the Republican presidential primaries… before offering the lame excuse that he is the only native-born American, over the age of thirty-five, who is ineligible to seek the presidency.  Hogwash! Gingrich’s announcement left conservatives without a trustworthy voice in the Republican primaries.

Permission slip for the sea by Oliver North LOST Treaty

Submitted by lholub on Fri, 10/12/2007 - 13:14.

In his 2004 State of the Union Address, President Bush said, “America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country.” Members of both parties and both houses of Congress applauded.

Earmarks and Congressional Corruption by Paul Weyrich

Amidst all of the recent moral and ethical corruption scandals in Congress comes news of what appears to be even more patently dishonest behavior. Representative John “Jack” Murtha (D-PA) holds one of the most powerful positions in the House of Representatives, Chairman of the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee. As such, he controls enormous amounts of taxpayer dollars and can distribute them to whom he pleases under the appropriations system Congress uses to fund projects in Congressional districts.

An American America by Sandra R Fry

Americans are a unique people. We want our country back. We want American money to go to the Americans and to be in the pockets of Americans. We want to keep the money we earn and decide for ourselves how to use it.

From Human Events:  "Congressional Collapse" by Sen. Tom Coburn

As investigators and engineers examine the I-35 bridge in Minnesota for clues about what caused it to collapse, officials in Washington have a moral obligation to conduct a similar review. We can honor the victims by asking:

Are there structural flaws in our political system that allow tragedies like this to occur?

Unreported Success for the Month of July by Keith Radig

Another incredibly successful month in Iraq has gone by and for once the media reported something nice. They reported that our enemy killed less Americans this month than any other month in 2007. Once again they have neglected to suggest any reason why, they also forgot to report on what our troops have done. I guess that is why I do this every week, and every month.

Here are the numbers for July:

Unreported Success for the month of May 2007 by Keith Radig

May, a month to be proud of our troops. With the drive by media’s focus on negatives like 3 captured soldiers and Memorial Day casualties, I can understand that they were far too busy to report anything good. A source of bad news in Iraq has contributed to many good news stories. Because we are searching for our 3 missing soldiers, we are turning up a lot of other missing things.
